It is with great delight that Greenspace Ecological Solution’s announce that it’s been awarded CIEEM’s 2018 Winner of the Small-Scale Consultancy of the Year Award.

The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) are the industry’s leading professional body and receiving this national award gives recognition to GES’s commitment to developing team members, its efforts in promoting the profession and the excellent standard of work the company has achieved.

Open to consultancies employing between 1 and 10 professional ecologists, CIEEM expressed their difficulty in differentiating the achievements of a truly small company (<10 employees) against those of a small team (<10 ecologists) within a much larger entity. In recognition of the differences, CIEEM took the unprecedented decision to award both GES and Peter Brett Associates LLP with independent small business awards and it is with pleasure that all at GES congratulate our fellow winners on their achievement.

Held in the grand 14th century Merchant Taylors Hall in London, the ceremony was held on 21 June 2018 and was an amazing celebration of the forward thinking, dynamic and quality work being undertaken across the nation. A great day was had by all and the GES team enjoyed hearing about fellow companies, researchers, graduates and projects across the nation.

“GES are ecstatic to be recognised by CIEEM as the nation’s Best Small-Scale Consultancy of 2018. The hard work, expertise and determination of our staff is paramount to the quality of the company’s services and receiving this award in just 7 years of trading makes for very exciting times ahead. We truly hope this recognition provides confidence to our clients that all those at GES strive to deliver an excellent service which serves to the benefit of both our client base and nature alike.” Guy Newman, GES Director.
